especially on the needs of our nation’s
veterans, their families and our communities.

Jan Pulvermacher Ryan of Waunakee, Wisc.
is the 2007-2008 National President of the
American Legion Auxiliary. Jan is a lifetime
member of William Lansing Unit #360 Waunakee,
Wisc. and is eligible for Auxiliary membership
through the Korean War service of her late
husband Sylvester C. Pulvermacher. She served
as Unit President and Secretary, Dane County
President and Third District President.
Jan served as Wisconsin Department President
in 1975-76 and previously served as Department
Chaplain, Historian, and First and Second
Vice President.
She is a charter partner of Salon #36, 8
& 40, a member of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary
and St. Peter's Catholic Church. She is
also listed in the “Who's Who in Madison.”
Jan's career consisted of many years in
the banking profession and insurance industry,
where she just recently retired from American
Family Insurance Company. She worked for
21 years as a Human Resource professional.
Jan is presently married to Connie Ryan,
a Marine Corps veteran. She is the proud
mother of Scott and Tami and proud grandmother
of Joshua, Michelle, and Allyson Pulvermacher
and Aaron and Rebecca Radwill. Her family
also includes daughter-inlaw Jean Pulvermacher
and son-in-law James Radwill. Jan's daughter
Tami and granddaughters
Michelle, Allyson and Rebecca are all members
of the American Legion Auxiliary.
